Images from Alay-Lakad 2007

A good number of Calbayognons participated in Alay-Lakad 2007. This year's walk was spearheded by the Bantay-Abuso Network (BAN) of the WESADEF, in coordination with the City Government of Calbayog through the City Social Welfare and Development Office.

The activity commenced at the City Hall Stage. There were two other take-off points: Tinambacan and Oquendo. The participants each gave a donation of 35 pesos (at 5 pesos per kilometer) converged at the Calbayog Airport for a Mass and a short program.

The theme of this year's walk is "Lakad Bayan Para Sa Kaunlaran".
