Holy Week Services

I was at the Cathedral this afternoon. They have covered the images of the saints with violet-colored cloth. And it occurred to me, indeed it's Holy Week. There's always something about the cloth-covered retablo which makes me ponder about this yearly celebration.

Here's the schedule of Easter Triduum Services in at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral (Our Lady's Nativity Parish)

• Holy Thursday @ 4:00 pm: Mass of the Lord's Supper
• Holy Thursday @ 6:00 pm: Start of Vigil
• Holy Thursday @ 8:00 pm: Jubileo

• Good Friday @ 1:00 pm: Siete Palabras
• Good Friday @ 3:00 pm: Good Friday Service which consists of the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion
• Good Friday @ 5:00 pm: Procession
• Good Friday @ 10:00 pm: Prusisyun san Dolorosa

• Black Saturday @ 4:00 am: Estasyon Publico
• Black Saturday @ 10:00 pm: Easter Vigil
