Yup, for a few hours I forgot about the reports on the El Niño. I guess today is (or is it was?) one of those days when a good number of Calbayog folks gave some sigh of relief. The day started with overcast skies. Yup, it was showering during today's flag-raising ceremony. And then rains came. It may not have been enough to fill the ricefields with the much-needed water, but it did help cool the temperature a bit.
