Kaapi na sini an tulo mga kadaan nga mga karro nga nagpapakita san Paghampaka san Ginoo, an ika-tulo nga pakarakop san Ginoo ug sugad man an Santo Intierro. Adi an pipira nga mga litratu nga akun nakuha durante san prusisyun.

The Good Friday Service was held at 3:00 pm today at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Bishop Isabelo Abarquez presided over the the 2-hour service which consisted of the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Holy Cross and the Holy Communion. Here are some pictures which I took during today's service

Aadi an mga litratu san nasabi nga mga kapilya o simbahan.

Misa san Katapusan nga Panihapun

Bishop Isabelo Abarquez presided over today's Holy Thursday Mass at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. That Mass of the Last Supper featured the traditional "pamusa san mga apostoles" and the transfer of the Holy Eucharist to the "monumento"

Today we remember The Most Reverend Sofronio Hacbang, the second Bishop of Calbayog. It has been 75 years since he received the gift of eternal life.

Palm Sunday in my old hometown

It's Palm Sunday. I attended the 8:00 am mass at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. As expected, the place was filled by the faithful and that was only the third mass for the day. Anyway, the 5:00 pm mass was presided over by the Bishop assisted by the Parish Pastors. The blessing of palms was held at the Cardinal Rosales Plaza.
